Foreign Collaborations

OMG

A couple of linkages have been established in 2008. Jai Hind has signed an MOU with the Consortium of 17 Canadian Universities under the aegis of Ontario-Maharashtra-Goa programme. This is primarily a student exchange program.
The main criteria for selection are completion of graduation. The program also includes a complete waiver of tuition fees and a scholarship of Canadian $2000-$2500 to the students. 2 batches of students have availed of this opportunity already.

JENESYS

It offers a two week visit to Japan to a deserving Jai Hind Mass Media student. Students from Jai Hind attend the summer school at the University of Berkeley, California, as a part of their curriculum requirement of the college, wherein they have to do an internship in India or attend summer school at Berkeley.

NJIT

New Jersey Institute of Technology, NJIT is a university with a history of 125 years at New Jersey, USA. Jai Hind College is proud to be associated with NJIT and provide twinning programs to our students in the areas of Management and Engineering.

Management Programs (for graduate students)

Master of Science in Management, MSM: A one year post graduate twinning program of two semesters. The first semester will be done by the student at Jai Hind College, to earn 15 credits and the second semester at NJIT for the remaining 15 credits to get an MSM degree from NJIT, USA.

MBA: This program is also a twinning program of three semesters to get the MBA degree. The first semester will be of 5 core subjects at Jai Hind College, where the student has to earn 15 credits. After completing the first semester, the remaining two semesters will be undertaken by the student at NJIT, New Jersey, where the student has to earn 33 credits in order to earn a total of 48 credits to be entitled for the MBA degree to be awarded by NJIT University, New Jersey USA

Engineering Programs: (For Science undergraduates)

This program is also a twinning program likely to commence w.e.f. 2010 whereby a student after completing 2 years of B.Sc. will be entitled to go to NJIT to join the third year of the Engineering program. An SYB Sc student will be given 52 credits for the 2 years of their B.Sc. program here in Jai Hind College. The student will have to earn the remaining 79 credit hours to be completed in the 3rd and 4th year at NJIT in order to make a total of 131 credit hours to qualify for the engineering degree. The certificate will be awarded by NJIT. A student showing consistent excellent performance at NJIT in the two years can be considered for an accelerated BSMS program whereby the student gets a post graduate degree in one additional year.

Bournemouth University U.K

BMM student exchange programme with Bournemouth University U.K. is likely to commence w.e.f. the year 2010.

University of East Anglia (U.K.) - Jai Hind College Scholarship

In recognition of its strong links with Jai Hind College, the University of East Anglia (U.K.) has announced a specific scholarship to a highly qualified Jai Hind student, either at undergraduate or Master’s level w.e.f. 2002 -2003.

Fraser Valley

Department of Computer Science have signed an MOU with University of Fraser Valley, In which 90 credit points will be given to a computer science students after completing 3 years of Graduation through Mumbai University, with this 90 Credit points the student can join BSC(Computers Information System) 4th year in UFV.
