Bachelor in Accounting Finance
The Department of BAF at Jai Hind College offers specialized business and commerce courses. The curriculum is tailored to provide practical skills and knowledge, ensuring students are well-prepared for the competitive business world. The department has a growing faculty of over 4 in-house professors and 12 visiting faculty from various industries. Students are also supported in their pursuit of higher education, with alumni attending prestigious institutions, including Ivy League schools. The department emphasizes research and skill development through student-run clubs and initiatives. Certificate courses like PowerBI and financial modeling, enhancing practical skills in finance are offered by the department. The department’s collaboration with the CFA Institute brings value-added exposure to global financial insights through select academic interactions, guest lectures and learning resources.
Program Objectives
- Equip students with specialized knowledge in accountancy and finance, preparing them for careers in audit, private equity, and venture capital industries.
- Provides a balanced mix of theory and practical learning through projects, case studies, presentations, moot courts, mock stock sessions, and industrial visits.
- Offer students hands-on industry experience through a compulsory Summer Internship Program and enhance their knowledge of international financial markets via seminars and workshops conducted by stock exchanges and corporates.
- Enable students to pursue professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, and CFA, and leverage linkages with partner colleges and universities abroad for further studies.

Entourage, the annual financial festival organized by the BAF, BBI, and BFM department at Jai Hind College, is marked by corporate and social enthusiasm, featuring various financial events, upskilling sessions, and CSR activities.
