B.Sc. program in Botany
Established in 1948, the Department of Botany at Jai Hind College offers undergraduate (B.Sc.) and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs. Renowned for its commitment to research and academic excellence, the department has produced over 28 Ph.D. holders and 10 M.Sc. (by research) holders till date.The Bachelor of Science in Botany offers a curriculum under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS), focusing on clear learning outcomes. It builds essential skills through core, discipline-specific, and elective courses, enhancing practical and communication abilities. The program aims to develop core competencies, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing students for success in both academic and professional settings.
