Junior College
The Junior College section of Jai Hind College is a dynamic multidisciplinary institution offering quality education in the fields of Science, Commerce, and Arts. Aided by the Government of Maharashtra, the college has consistently nurtured academic excellence and holistic development among students.
Over the years, the institution has built a strong legacy of outstanding performance in board examinations, with students progressing to successful careers in medicine, engineering, business, journalism, and several other professional fields. The Junior College is guided by a dedicated and experienced faculty that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and personal growth. Through continuous mentorship and meaningful student-teacher interaction, the college creates a supportive environment where young minds are encouraged to achieve their fullest potential.
A student enters the college after passing the std X exams and is considered a student of junior college for 2 years.
A student studies 8 subjects and appears for 4 exams through the year in Std XI. On successful completion of the exams the student is promoted to std XII. In Std XII a student again studies 8 subjects and at the end of the year appears for a board exam conducted by the state of Maharashtra.

Jai Hind College has always believed in the holistic development of its students. Beyond academics, the Junior College provides numerous opportunities for students to enhance their skills, discover their talents, and build confident, well-rounded personalities through a wide range of events, cultural activities, competitions, and co-curricular initiatives. These experiences encourage leadership, creativity, teamwork, and personal growth, helping students develop into capable and responsible individuals.
Students are given the opportunity to participate in all activities of the college. In addition, there are certain activities or societies exclusive to junior college students.
EXPRESSIONS: A non – judgmental, non – competitive platform for students to express themselves through any medium that they choose.
JACE: A society for Commerce students which conducts various activities through the year.
SAHEJH: A club for science students to encourage learning maths and science through fun activities and relating it to daily life.
