The
Women's Development Cell was inaugurated in November 2005.
The Cell aims at empowerment of women and at creating wider
gender sensitivity. It organizes seminars on topics related
to women; creates awareness about their rights and celebrates
January 3 rd every year as ‘Nari Mukti Din' (Women's
Empowerment Day) in collaboration with the Times Foundation.
A skit competition is organized and prizes and awards are
given to the deserving students.
