Professor N.W. Shivdasani has been a part of Jai Hind College for over 35 years. He occupied the post of the Prinicipal for 14 years and retired in 2004. He is very proficient in Chemistry and was the Head of Department. As a Prinicpal, Prof. Shivdasani has infused the students of Jai Hind with a new enthusiasm. He not only promotes academic progress but also overall development of the individual personality of the student. Jai Hind College owes its excellence to his untiring efforts over the years.

He is truly someone the students of Jai Hind can look up to for inspiration!!

Dr. Kirti Narain took over as Principal of Jai Hind College in August 2005. She has done her Masters and Ph.D. in History from the University of Lucknow. She has wide experience in teaching at various institutions across Asia, including the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Centre of Asian Studies at the University of Hong Kong.

Dr Narain has organized and presented over 40 papers in many national and international seminars and conferences, and has also published 3 books.

As Principal, Dr Narain took the initiative of starting the Women's Development Cell, the Teacher's Academic Forum and the Public Relations Cell at Jai Hind College. She has also served as a guiding light for students, propagating cultural development and academic excellence.
