The department is a one-person department.

Political Science is offered as an optional subject at FYBA, SYBA & TYBA. The department offers only part-major in Political Science at TYBA and it can be opted with either part-major in Economics, History, Psychology or Philosophy.

Attended the UGC National Level Seminar on "Women in Situations of conflict: victims or agents?" organised by the Department of Sociology, K.C. College, on 10th & 11th March 2005.

Attended National Conference on "Engendering Macroeconomics and Macroeconomic Policies" organised by the Centre for Women Studies, Department of Economics, University of Mumbai, on 29th & 30th September 2005.

Attended a two-day workshop on 'New discoveries on the functioning of the brain and its implications for teaching and learning' organized by Jai Hind College and DSB International on 13th and 14th October, 2006
