NSS was set up with a view of creating a sense of social awareness and responsibility among the student fraternity. NSS unit has to work under the guidelines stipulated by the University of Mumbai. According to these guidelines the work done by the unit is divided in three major groups namely Area based project college level project and University level project. The unit has to organize a ten-day residential camp at a rural/underdeveloped site. At the completion of 120hrs the university awards 10 marks and a certificate of merit to this student volunteer.

Other yearly activities are blood donation drive thalesaemia test and counseling our volunteers work and help various societies like: spastic society cancer patients aid associations Akanksha Hi-tech foundation for mentally challenged children habit for humanity etc.
